#phonelifebalance by Motorola: Connected or Disconnected?
In the fast paced digitized world, one cannot deny the pivotal role that technology has played in transforming our lives to a large extent – instant information exchange via emails, ease of staying connected through calls texts or chats, using navigation services to locate one’s route or use of various app based platforms to satisfy range of needs and so on.
But is the other side of it calling for a caution? While being socially active has become a norm, research suggests that our addiction to it is real. A study claims that university students check their mobile phones as many as 150 times in a day, though the same phenomenon with varying intensities has been observed in all age groups. It’s an irony that on one hand we are increasingly trying to enhance digital connectivity, while on the other hand we are re-iterating the concept of a better phone life balance.
